Sanctuary Dogs

Daisy

Hi there, I am Daisy Mae. I am the sweetest, most well-behaved pup at the sanctuary, but I also have a lot of energy and sometimes my parents call me “Crazy Daisy.” I am a Rottie mix that was saved from a drug house in Chautauqua County. Now, I am the princess of AAO and I get spoiled rotten. I love belly rubs and car rides. And I will do anything for a treat. If you meet me, be prepared to get smothered in kisses!

Quica

Hola, my name is Quica. I only like about two people at the AAO sanctuary, but those two people are my everything. I am the most loyal dog you will ever meet for those that I love. I may come across to everyone else as tough and gruff, but deep down I have a loving soul and I just want to be loved in return. My favorite things to do at AAO are running in the fields, cuddling up in bed with my humans, and helping my mom cook in the kitchen. I especially love when she makes broccoli. Broccoli is my favorite snack!

Bandit

Hi, I'm Bandit! I am a Malamute with with BIG personality and an ever bigger love for my dad, Matt. I am goofy, vocal, smart, and always ready for an adventure. I was a service dog to a man from Lancaster who had a traumatic brain injury. I got loose one day and caused a little bit of trouble in the neighborhood. The neighbors and town prosecutor didn't like that and tried to have me killed! I may be a big guy, but honestly?? I just wanted to be loved and included. Thankfully, AAO and the fierce animal advocates in the WNY community fought for me and brought me to the sanctuary. I am now living my best life ever!

Mica

Hi, I’m Mica! I’m a German Shepherd/Husky mix. I hear that I’m a good, smart boy all the time so it must be true! I love being outside, learning new tricks and going for long walks. I’m an energetic guy who is looking for someone who can keep me active and stimulated! Don’t get me wrong I love to snuggle on the couch…after I get my exercise! I can’t wait to meet my forever playmate! I’m a big boy so I would prefer to be in a home with no cats and no children. Check me out on the adopt section!

Crossed the Rainbow Bridge

Alamo

Howdy, I’m Alamo! I’m just a cowboy from Texas who somehow ended up in Western New York. But it suited me. I loved the snow! Aside from the snow, my other favorite things in life were my dad, my stuffies, and my blankie. I am so thankful that AAO found me.

Alamo

Howdy, I’m Buster! I’m a Pit Bull Terrier and lab mix. I was the very first AAO sanctuary dog, so that makes me the OG. I spend most of my time at the sanctuary was doing what I love most which was sleeping, sunbathing, and swimming! I also loved to go on walks and cuddle with the volunteers. AAO literally saved my life.
